This takes awhile to load, but once it does, you'll realize why we wanted a full-sized photo of this amazing bass mount done by Tei Chisenhall.  In this classic Food-Chain Scenario,  you can see the detail of a beautifully-mounted largemouth bass, chasing a small freeze-dried perch, which is after a worm that Tei fashioned from Apoxie-Sculpt (lower right hand corner).

Tei placed her bass on carefully-selected driftwood (secured by two screws, one screw through the inside of the mouth and firmly into the driftwood.  Screw is sculpted over and then the paint is repaired)  inside a rough-sawn rectangular base.  Shallow fill of fish gravel  mixed with gloss modge-podge keeps the finished mount looking "wet".  Tiny shells gathered from the lake add to the realism, as do seaweedy-looking plants framing the larger fish.

A beautiful mount, beautifully presented.
